May 2025 - The Ecophysiology Lab is awarded a Protect Our Reef Grant to support Gillian Smith and Taylor Queen thesis work.
April 2025 - Gillian Smith, Taylor Queen, Eliza Patty, Zachariah Loreant, and Jonathan Ballard present their research at the 2025 National Benthic Ecology Meeting in Mobile, Alabama.
March 2025 - Lily Branton, Gillian Smith, Taylor Queen, Eliza Patty, Zachariah Loreant, and Jonathan Ballard present their research at the 18th annual Eckerd Symposium. Jonathan's poster wins first place in Conservation, and Gillian's poster wins second in Marine Ecology!

March 2024 - Rebecca Meberg, Taylor Queen, and Eliza Patty present their summer research at the 17th annual Eckerd Symposium. First-Year research students Jonathan Ballard and Gillian Smith also present their research conducted during the school year. Rebecca won first place in Animal Behavior, while Gillian and Jonathan won first in Gulf Scholars category!
